NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC
Notice is hereby given that the Drainage District Number Five of Desha County, Arkansas has filed a petition in the Circuit Court of Desha County for the Circuit Court to levy the following Drainage District Tax upon lands in Desha County for the year 2023, payable in 2024:
“A tax of 2% upon the assessed benefit of all lands lying with the
district for maintenance and operation purposes."
Any property owner seeking to resist the requested levy may appear in the Desha County Courthouse Annex, Arkansas City, Arkansas, on Monday the 25th day of September 2023 at 9:00 a.m. and urge his or her objections thereto.
