Residental Burglary Reported on S. Ash
According to a Dumas Police Department August 3, 2020 Incident report, Quenshaydra Gibson told officers that she was out of town from her residence at 305 S. Ash on July 26, 2020. Upon her return, she noticed someone had entered her residence and stolen numerous amounts of her belongings. There was no force of entry at this time. Ms Gibson was advised it would be turned over to CID for further investigation and there would be a report on file.
Criminal Mischief Reported at Residence on Evergreen
Dumas Police Officer Greg Freeman was dispatched to #83 Evergreen Thursday, July 30, 2020 at approximately 10:23 PM, in reference to a broken window.
Upon arrival, Officer Freeman made contact with Greg Everett who advised him that he was in his residence when he heard a loud crash of glass breaking. When he went to investigate he found that the window in the living room was broken and the window in his daughters room broken as well.
The windows were broken with an unknown tool. No injuries were reported at the time of this report.
Everett was advised that a report would be on file at the Dumas Police Department.
Property Damage Reported
Dumas Police Officer Greg Freeman was dispatched to the lobby of the Dumas Police Department Friday, July 31, 2020 at approximately 1:11AM, in reference to Property Damage.
Officer Freeman spoke with Christy Patton who state she was traveling east on W. Waterman when she observed a trailer with a lawn mower parked in the street at W. Waterman at Oak Street.
Patton stated that when she went around the trailer she ran over a jack causing damage to her vehicle, a 2007 Red BMW.
The trailer, belonging to Fred Pittman, had no LPN displayed at the time of this report. Pittman stated that he wasn't at the scene when she ran over the jack and could not give any information on how she ran over the jack.
