Free Family-Friendly Event on Sept. 12 Includes No-Sew Face Mask Activity, Experiments
PINE BLUFF, Ark. — The Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas (ASC) invites the public to its annual family-friendly event Tinkerfest from 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12. The event is free.
This year’s activities will explore safety and care during the COVID-19 pandemic. Visitors can make hand sanitizer, create no-sew face masks, and explore social distancing experiments.
To help with social distancing, this year’s Tinkerfest is broken into 40-minute time slots, with a maximum of 10 visitors per slot. Visitors may choose from the following times: 11-11:40 a.m.; 11:50 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; 12:40-1:20 p.m.; and 1:30-2:10 p.m.
