The Dumas City Council heard recommendations to extend the height of commercial towers in Dumas to 200 ft. Clinton Hawkins, Jr., Zoning Chair, presented the recommendation to extend the height of the tower. The council voted to revise the ordinance to add the extended length for AT&T Cell Tower Application.

City Council selects Construction Company to clean up future Dumas Maintenance Building site

The Dumas City Council held a Special Called meeting to consider three bids submitted to clean up the old Dollar General site, located on Highway 54, selecting Richard Pambianchi Construction Company Monday, January 31, 2022.
The City plans to build the new City of Dumas Maintenance building on the site.

The Dumas City Council honored retired Dumas Volunteer Fire Department Chief David Byrd with the honorary title of Fire Chief Emeritus at the January 11, 2022 City Council Meeting.
The Council recognized DVFD Chief David Byrd's retirement after 32 years of service.
