Desha County Compassionate Friends will meet this Saturday, October 21, 4 p.m. at the Dumas Branch Library Meeting Room. All bereaved parents, grandparents, siblings and anyone grieving the death of a child is invited. Dumas Housing Taskforce to host weekly Zoom meeting
The Dumas Housing Task force will be hosting their meeting weekly by Zoom to prepare for the November 9 community meeting, starting this Thursday, Oct. 19 through Noveber 2, 2023, from 3:00 to 4:00 pm. Audra Butler will lead the meetings and The taskforce needs as many people to attend each week as possible as we prepare to meet with the community. Traveler’s Rest Church to host Men’s Day Program
A Men's Day Program will be held at the Traveler's Rest Missionary Baptist Church of Grady Sunday, October 22, 2023 at 2:30 pm. The Guest Speaker will be Ken Daniels of Solomon Hill Baptist Church of Pine Bluff. Everyone is invited to attend. Minister Bruce Johnson is Associate Pastor.

New Testament COGIC to host 22 years celebration
The New Testament Church of God in Christ will be hosting a 22 years celebration for Pastor, Supt. Walter and First Lady Kerma Jones Friday October 20, 2023 at 7 pm and Sunday, October 22, 2023 at 3 pm.
The event will be honoring Lady Kerma Jones Friday, October 20, 2023. Special Guest Speaker Missy. Betty Adam and Word Church and Bethlehem Woman Choir, New King Solomon, Oasis of Love, Men of Faith, Patricia Clark, Denise Bryant, and Rose Mary Tatum.
Supt. Johnny Winfield, Unity Temple of Portland, AR will be the special guest speaker Sunday, October 22. Guest include Step of Faith, Christ Temple, Harvest Time, New Zion Faith, and New Covenant.
