City of Dumas reopened at Dumas Opportunity Services building
The City of Dumas is now open to the public at its temporary location at the Dumas Opportunity Services Building (the former Dtech) starting Monday April 1, 2024.
The hours of operation will be from Monday to Friday 8 am – 4 pm. A night drop will be available for city patrons to drop off their payments under the Dtech drive thru window. Citizens may still mail their payments to the City of Dumas at P.O. Box 157 Dumas, AR 71639. The city may be contacted at 870-382-2121 or by email at dumasarcity@gmail.com.
The City relocated to 130 W. Waterman Street after storms and heavy rains damaged the building Thursday, March 15, 2024.
The City of Dumas would like to thank the citizens for their patience during the past two weeks.
“On March 15, the City Hall building sustained massive damage when ceiling tiles and rain water came crashing down. We have been working diligently to prepare a place for you to come and take care of your business. We are excited to say that we are now open again for business,” Sheree Jackson, City of Dumas Finance Officer said.
