Boys & Girls Club of McGehee's 2022 Youth of the Year is Maison Wright. Maison was selected as the Club's Youth of the Year because she exemplifies the qualities the Club hopes that all of its Club members attain.
Maison grew up attending the Club in McGehee and now works as a Youth Development Profess-ional at the Washington Street location. Maison represented Boys & Girls Club of McGehee at the Arkansas Youth of the Year event in Little Rock on April 13th and 14th where she competed with 7 other candidates from across the state for the title of Arkansas Youth of the Year. While she didn't win, Maison still received a $500 scholarship from the Arkansas Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs. Maison represented the Club and all of southeast Arkansas so well.
Youth of the Year is the signature effort to foster a new generation of leaders, fully prepared to live and lead in a diverse, global and integrated world economy in our Boys & Girls Clubs.
