Just keep swimming; just keep swimming; just keep swimming right to the library! The 2022 “Oceans of Possibilities” Summer Reading Program at the Dumas Library is right around the corner. Do you have any children who are between the ages of 3 & 12? If so, register them for the library's Summer Reading Program! It’s six weeks of free fun and learning opportunities.
The fun begins on Thursday, June 16th, with an Under the Sea kick-off party! The party will be a come-and-go event from 11 AM-1 PM where your kids can visit various stations to make crafts and snacks and play games. They will also receive their Registration Packets that include contest instructions, schedule of events, and small goodies.
The main programs are split between Tuesdays and Thursdays this year. Tuesdays will be for those ages 3-6 on June 21-July 12. Thursdays will be for those ages 7-12 on June 23-July 14. All programs begin at 10 AM. The Summer Reading Finale is on Thursday, July 21st, from 11 AM-1 PM. The finale will be another come-and-go event where your kids can visit activity stations, play games, and pick up any prizes won by completing the different contests.
Sign-up opens on Monday, May 2, 2022! To sign-up your kids, either call the library at 870-382-5763 or register at this link (https://forms.gle/DvUtvzcWXFDZmP4o9). We can’t wait to see all the kiddos again and have a blast all summer long!
