January 16, 2024 The ARDOT crews have Highways 65 and 165 in good shape. Entrances into parking lots and side roads can be difficult. The County crew plowed Hwy 4 today, and intends to work on Highways 1 and 138 tomorrow.

A message from the Desha County Sheriff Department January 16, 2024 "I want say a big “thank you” to Desha County Judge Richard Tindall and his Road Grader crews for going to work on the secondary highways today. Hwy 4 to Arkansas City is in much better shape!"

THURSDAY-FRIDAY: As another round of arctic air moves southward, there will be another storm system bringing the potential of sleet & freezing rain across the area.

Not expecting snow this go around but we'll watch it!

EARLY NEXT WEEK: As this upcoming weekend's arctic air moves out, southwest flow returns & could lead to a potential ice event in Arkansas!
