Amalia “Molly” Gonzalez, 67 of San Antonio, Texas and formerly of Dumas, Arkansas passed away October 8, 2021. She was born March 2, 1954, in Las Ballitas Tamaulipas, Mexico and was the daughter of the late Antonio Zuniga and Ignacia Garcia. Her parents and brothers Cesar Zuniga and Dionicio Zuniga., all preceded her in death.
Molly was a Christian in the Catholic faith. She worked for many years as a cook at Walnut Lake Country Club and was a loving wife and mother. With her health failing Molly and Luis moved Dumas to San Antonio, to be near their son, Jorge.
Survivors are her husband Luis A. Gonzalez and son Jorge L. Gonzalez of San Antonio, Texas, two brothers Urbano Zuniga of Dumas and Juan Zuniga of Louisiana and three sisters Celia Campuzano of Dumas, Oralia De La Cruz of North Carolina, and Juana Garza of Florida.
Wake held Wednesday, October 13, 4-6 PM, Rosary held following from 6-7 PM. Funeral mass at 11 Am, Thursday October 14, 2021, with burial following at Walnut Lake Cemetery, Pickens, Arkansas.
