Jackie Lynn Leonard McGough, 64, of Dumas, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2021, in Dumas. She was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on January 20, 1957, to John Carleton and Carol Jeanne (Lowry) Leonard. She was preceded in death by her father.
Jackie was a member of Anderson Chapel Baptist Church in Dumas. She was employed by Delta Memorial Hospital as the business office manager for the Rehab Care department for more than 30 years. She was also a member and past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Dumas Chapter #393.
For anyone who knew Jackie, she was full of life. She filled the room with her laughter and jokes. She enjoyed every moment she had here on earth. God broke the mold when He made Jackie. She was a loyal friend to many who will miss sharing the laughter but are left with so many special memories. The joy and pride of her life was her daughter Mary Kate, who she loved more than life itself.
Survivors are her mother, Carol Leonard of Dumas, one daughter Mary Kate Sullivan of Dumas, two sisters Judy (Jay Mack) Calhoun of Star City and Jeri (Davey) Farabough of Dumas.
Memorial services will be on Saturday, Sept. 11th at 10:30 at Anderson Chapel Baptist Church.
