Two people have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a University of Pine Bluff student, police say.
On Sunday, Omarion Bones, 18, was found fatally shot at the intersection of East Lincoln Street and North Oak Street in Stuttgart.
Police say that due to the age of the suspects, their names are not being released.
The state intends to seek capital murder charges on both suspects. They are being held at a juvenile correction facility with no bond.
In a statement posted on Twitter, the UAPB chancellor said the life of Omarion Bones "tragically ended" in his hometown of Stuttgart. Bones would have been a returning freshman and had hopes of playing on the school's football team.
