Rick Reyes, with Monsters of the South, said the theme will celebrate the diverse ways the people of Dumas celebrate Christmas.
"We wanted everyone to get involved in the whole Hometown Christmas here. This is your hometown. We are a community that is diverse in people so we want to see what your Christmas looks like, not just the traditional Hallmark Christmas,” Reyes said. “We are so diverse as a community and this is all of our hometown that is where it came from and we want people to showcase their hometown Christmas. Everything is not as diverse as it should be and we are going to work on that and try to change it. I want to say to the Dumas Community that this is our community, we are all a part of it and the more we work and the more we do for the community the better it is for everyone. “
