“First off, my hat goes off to McGehee and their coaching staff,” said Coach Harris. “They did a good job of preparing their guys for the game. Their players came out to play. They were playing with a sense of urgency. They came in as a four seed so they played with a sense of urgency and just out played us. I give them all the credit.”
“They got all the 50/50 balls. They got all the loose balls,” said Harris. “We didn't block out well, we missed our free-throws, we missed layups. They just wanted it a lot more than we did. We didn't come out and play and it hurt us down the stretch. As the game went on, McGehee played patient, they ran their sets and they executed down the stretch and they beat us.”
“We just got beat,” said Harris. “They were more ready to play than we were. I don't know if we underestimated them because we'd already beat them twice or what. McGehee just had a more sense of urgency them we did.”
Mike Reddick led the Bobcats with 23 points including a 3-pointer, while Tommy Reddick scored 15 including three 3-pointers.
Joseph Jones scored nine points, while Kavion Beavers and Derrick Lee scored two points each.
The Bobcats shot 72% from the free-throw line, making 13 of 18 attempts.
