The Dumas Baseball Boost Club held their annual Baseball/Softball banquet presenting awards to players of the DHS baseball and softball teams at the First Baptist Church of Dumas Monday, May 17, 2021 .
Head Coach Clint Huddleston thanked all around the community especially the baseball booster club.
“I wish all my senior players the best of luck and continued success in the next chapters of their lives.” Coach Huddleston said.
Seniors members included: Ethan Hill, Geovanni Castillo, Clayton Cotton, Roman James, Kylin James, Cole Palsa, Justin Downen, and Kennon Jones. Coach Huddleston also made a notice to acknowledge Jase Bishop and Kennon Jones for making All Conference First Team; Cole Palsa, Kylin James, and River Patton were recipients of All Conference Second Team honors.
The 2020-2021 Dumas High School baseball team finished the season with a 7-5 record in conference play. Relying on hard work the boys earned a trip to the regional tournament where they lost to Ashtown.
