The Dumas Basketball Booster Club held its annual car wash Fundraiser at the Merchant & Farmers Bank Saturday, May 29
Dumas Basketball Booster Club President Tironeka Brown said
“On the behalf of the Dumas Basketball Booster Club, we would like to thank everyone for contributing to our car wash fundraiser on Saturday, May 29th and helping make it a success The support was awesome. Thank you Merchants & Farmers Bank for allowing us the opportunity to do our car wash fundraiser!! Thanks to all of the parents, School District Superintendent, Board Members, teachers, family, friends, Dumas Family Dollar, Anchored Events Services and even strangers for the generous donations and supplies!!”
Tatum Janitorial Service sponsored the event. The Booster Club also thanked Dumas/Mitchell native Arrive James, the son of Joe James from Mitchell, for stopping by to show his support. James played for the Dumas Bobcats and the Houston Tilers. The money raised will be used to send the basketball teams to camp.
“We're just so blessed and grateful to have so much support, from far and near, to help us continue to build our Basketball Program!! Thanks!,” Brown said.
