This is the last of the three raises passed by Arkansas voters. They approved Issue 5 to raise the minimum wage in November 2018. It passed with 68 percent of the vote.
The minimum wage went up from $8.50 an hour to $9.25 an hour on January 1, 2019. Then it increased to $10 an hour on January 1, 2020.
