Merchants & Farmers Bank has announced the hiring of Shalaunda Jones as Assistant Loan Administration Officer.

Jones is a native of Dumas and graduate of Dumas High School. She received her Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff in 2010 and her Masters of Science in Operations Management at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 2014.
She is an active member of Bethlehem Worship Center Church of God in Christ. She is currently serving as a board member of the Dumas Chamber of Commerce, Instructor with the Arkansas Scholars Program for Dumas School District sponsored by the Dumas Chamber of Commerce, and serves on the Dumas Economic Development Committee. She previously served as Director of the Delta Technology Education Center in Dumas, representative for the Dumas area to the Winrock International Capacity Building for Rural Communities, Connect Arkansas, Arkansas Community Development Society, Youth Advisor for the Delta Area Community Foundation, Outreach Director for the Greater Delta Alliance for Health, and an Adjunct Instructor for the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.
Jones is the daughter of Tiffany Agnew of Dumas. She has two daughters, Kendall (15) and Kiera (12).
