Desha County Investigator Alan Hernandez, and Desha County Coroner Dr. Jamie Evans, carefully examining the area where the remains were found. All remains and clothing had been removed prior to taking the photo.
On Sunday evening, May 25th, Sheriff Mitch Grant was contacted by the Arkansas Game & Fish and was told that the Mississippi Wildlife and Fisheries had a report of human remains being discovered on a remote island in the Mississippi River on the north end of Desha County near Snow Lak
