On Jan. 7th at 9:00 p.m. Deputy Wayna Green initiated a traffic stop on a black Chevrolet pick-up, on U.S. Highway 65 in Dumas, that was occupied by three black males from Mississippi. After a probable cause search of the vehicle, 56 year old Jerry Nichols was arrested and charged with possession of Cocaine. (8 grams).
