Joy Adgomi, left, Cassendien Benton, McKennon Shea, Greg Spencer, Hugo Mondragon, Jonathan Byrd, and Torean Jackson place their hands over their hearts and face the American Flag at Central Elementary while singing the National Anthem Friday. Second Graders at the school formed at parade and performed a skit saluting American veterans and soldiers who lost their lives in war as a part of a tribute to the Memorial Day Holiday.

Teachers in the Dumas School District will receive the remainder of a raise for the 1990-91 school year in their last paycheck, following a vote by the Dumas School Board last night.
