Arkansas virus cases rise by 1,112; covid patients in ICU hit record

The number of hospitalized Arkansas covid-19 patients - as well as those in intensive care units and on ventilators - reached new record highs on Monday, even as the number of new virus cases went down, according to Health Department data.

Speaking on behalf of the City of Dumas, I would like to commend our entire police department, EMS, firefighters, Delta Memorial Hospital Staff, Arkansas State Police and all of the additional law enforcement, and emergency response agencies and individuals that assisted during Saturday’s (March 19,2022) unfortunate incident.

A former Franciscan friar in has been found guilty of sexually abusing a student during the 1990s at a Greenwood Catholic school in Mississippi.
A Leflore County jury deliberated less than an hour Wednesday before finding Paul West guilty of one count of sexual battery and one count of gratification of lust.
