NATIONAL SUMMARY
A cold front charging southeastward through the Upper
Midwest can produce strong thunderstorms in the southwestern
Upper Peninsula of Michigan, northwestern Wisconsin,
southeastern Minnesota and western Iowa tomorrow.
Thunderstorms can bring isolated damaging wind gusts to
western and central Oklahoma, West Texas and southeastern
New Mexico. Thunderstorms are also expected in Alabama,
Georgia and the Florida Panhandle, and some of these storms
may produce heavy rain in the afternoon. A few afternoon
thunderstorms will rumble through the Four Corners region. A
spotty afternoon thunderstorm will also be possible in the
Washington Cascades and the Cascades and Blue Mountains of
Oregon. A cool but sunny and dry day will unfold in the
Northeast after a morning frost or freeze.
