NATIONAL SUMMARY
A storm continuing to push onshore in the Northwest tomorrow
will bring heavy rain and lesser showers from Oregon and
Washington through Northern California and much of Idaho. At
the same time, a weak storm will bring a large area of
spotty rain and snow showers from southwestern New York
through far western North Carolina. A few spotty rain
showers can also dot much of central and eastern Virginia in
addition to eastern North Carolina. A few rain and snow
showers will also occur along the western lakeshore of
Michigan. Meanwhile, much of the Southeast, Southwest and
the Plains will stay dry and pleasant for many as high
pressure begins to build across the region. Warm conditions
will remain in place over much of Southern California and
southern Arizona.
