MEMPHIS, Tenn. (June 12, 2020) – Hannah Stimson, O.D., of Dumas, Arkansas, was among 134 students recently awarded the Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis.
A native of Dumas, Stimson is the daughter of Cheryl and Bob Stimson and the granddaughter of Onnie and Charles Rector. She is a graduate of Dumas High School and Mississippi State University. After graduation, Stimson plans to practice at the Jacksonville Vision Development Center in Jacksonville, Arkansas.
Optometrists are independent, primary health care providers who specialize in the examination, diagnosis, treatment and management of diseases/disorders of the visual system, the eye and associated structures, as well as the diagnosis of related systemic conditions.
