Mr. and Mrs. Audrey Wells of Dumas, Arkansas passed away October 4, 2022. Clarence Audrey Wells, 81 was born March 24, 1941, in McGehee, Arkansas the son of the late Clarence and Willie Carter Wells. His parents and two brothers and three sisters preceded him in death. Wanda Sue “Susie” Wells, 79 was born in Portland, Arkansas on July 15, 1943, the daughter of the late Coker and Laverne Bernie Hogue Sanderlin. Her parents and two brothers preceded her in Death.
Audrey and Susie were members of First Baptist Church. After serving in the United State Navy, Audrey returned to Dumas, where he and Susie were owners and operators of Wells Citgo for 60 years until their retirement.
Survivors are their two sons, Stanley Wells of Conway, Arkansas, and John (Maci) Wells of Monticello, Arkansas three grandchildren, William Cheek, Abigail Wells and Mackenzie Wells and Susie’s sister Barbara Womack of Little Rock, Arkansas.
Memorial services for Audrey and Susie held at 11 AM, Saturday, October 15, 2022, at First Baptist Church with Rev. Julius Carter and Roger Milligan officiating.
