Connie Efird, 70, of McGehee/Monticello passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at Arbor Oaks. She was born July 7, 1951, in Murfreesboro, North Carolina. Connie worked as a compliance officer at the Arkansas Department of Corrections. She was a member of First Baptist Church in McGhee. Connie was a great cook and enjoyed being with her grandkids. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Tipton Toney Efird; son, Jason Efird and siblings, Charles “Bubba” Martin Warren, Diane Whitmore and Ginger Sue Gardner.
Survivors include her son, Michael Efird (Jodie) of Monticello; daughters, Allison Efird Miles (Joe) of Little Rock; brother, Dean Warren (Mary Lee) of Suffolk, Virginia; sister, Nancy Jones of Suffolk, Virginia; grandchildren, John Michael Efird, Max Efird, Eli Miles, Brooklyn Miles, Beau Warren, and Morgan Fowler (Dalton); great grandchildren, Gentry and Bentlee Fowler; sister-in-law, Susan Smoke and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 14 from 6:00-8:00pm at Regency Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be Friday, April 15 at 1:00pm at Lower Antioch Cemetery with Brother Cameron Highsmith officiating. Pallbearers will be Will Scott, Alan Smith, Joel Reynolds, Adam Hasley, Dr. Joe Miles, Shawn Zeno, Mike Ward and Beau Beard.
