Larry Gene McMahan, 76 of Arkansas City, Arkansas passed away April 10, 2022. Born in Dumas, on September 18, 1945. The son of the late Paul and Nettie McMahan. His parents, sister Linda Watson and grandson Conner, preceded him in death.
Larry was member of Arkansas City Baptist Church; he was a very active member of the church. He retired from farming and Water and Sewer Supervisor for the City of Arkansas City. He was a member of Paschall Hunting Club, enjoyed cooking and growing a garden. But most of all he was a family man.
Survivors are his loving wife Gayle McMahan of Arkansas City, Arkansas and two daughters, Kimberly (Steven) Grammar of Dewitt, Arkansas, and Jamie (Chris) Smith of McGehee, Arkansas, brother Mike McMahan of Kelso, Arkansas and three sisters, Paula Crose of Kelso, Arkansas Vickie McMahan of McGehee and Sandy Jones of East End, Arkansas, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation and services held on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at Arkansas City Baptist Church, visitation from 1 pm until service time at 2 pm with Rev. Jason Martin officiating and burial following at Dark Corner Cemetery. Memorials in memory of Larry may be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital or Arkansas City Baptist Church.
