Lynda Kay Godfrey Dowell, 62 of Paynesville, Kentucky and formerly of Watson, Arkansas passed away December 31, 2021. Born October 7, 1959, in Greenville, Mississippi. Her mother Laverne Denver preceded her in death.
Lynda Kay was a consultant for S.F. Services, attended Watson United Methodist Church and former member of Watson Chamber of Commerce and Delta School Board member.
Survivors are her husband Mike Dowell of Paynesville, Kentucky, father, Charles Denver of Watson, Arkansas and two sons Shayne Wargo of Lubbock, Texas, and Hunter (Anna Cathryn) Wargo of McGehee, Arkansas brother Wallace Ray Godfrey of Mountain View, Missouri, and sister Kerry Ann (Jake) Lilly of Mountain View, Missouri and two grandchildren Jewel and Cason. Also survived by an expansive extended family that she loved dearly back home in Kentucky.
Visitation held from 1 PM to 2 PM prior to services, held on Thursday, January 6, 2022, at Griffin Funeral Home Chapel with services following at 2 PM with Mark McElroy officiating and burial in Watson Cemetery.
