Martha Sue Houser, 80, of Bryant, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 12, 2022. She was born in Winchester, Arkansas on August 7, 1941, to the late Justin Lamar Newton and Mattie Calvin Spurlock.
Martha is preceded in death by her parents Justin and Mattie Newton; brother Ira Kent Newton; and husband Clarence Houser.
Martha loved caring for people. She took after her mom and worked as a CNA for many years. Martha was funny, caring, and most of all she was a kind and wonderful mother. She loved her family and will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
Martha leaves behind her daughter Deborah Balmaz; grandson Kristopher Wright; great-granddaughter Aubree; great-grandson Kristopher; sister Opal Young of Hot Springs, Arkansas; sister Anna Joyce Locke of Hot Springs, Arkansas; and Justin Lamar Newton II and wife Gail of Grapevine, Arkansas.
A graveside memorial service will be held Thursday May 26, 2022, at Jefferson Cemetery in Winchester, Arkansas at 11:00 AM., Rev. Reuel Cruce officiating.
