Shirley “Chyrl” J. Browns Carter, 69 of Pine Bluff, Arkansas passed away December 6, 2022, in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Born March 26, 1953, in Atlanta, Georgia the daughter of Barrie and Anna Browns. Her mother and brother Tony Browns preceded her in death.
Shirley was a member of Bethany Missionary Baptist Church in White Hall, Arkansas. She loved her family, fishing, her fur babies, Rev. Jonathan, and Rev. Pully. Shirley was the former Administrator Assistant at Jefferson Home Care in White Hall, Arkansas.
Survivors are her husband Damon Carter of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, father Barrie Browns and stepmother Pat Browns of Independence, Missouri, three daughters, Jennifer (Andy) Crossett of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Christy (Andy) Deane of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and Elizabeth (Shawn) Hoskins of White Hall, Arkansas and three grandchildren Sydney, Kaylie and Andrew.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM Thursday, December 8, 2022, at Griffin Funeral Home, Dumas, Arkansas. Graveside services held 1 PM, Friday, December 9, 2022, at Tyro Cemetery with Rev. Jonathan Witcher officiating. Memorials in memory of Shirley may be made to American Diabetes Association or Bethany Missionary Baptist Church, 7122 Sheridan Road, White Hall, Arkansas 71603.
