Mother Alma P. Turks, 95, of Dumas, AR was born on November 24, 1927 in Montgomery
Alabama to the late Nelson Johnson Sr and Velma Lee Robinson Johnson. She departed this life on August 13, 2023 surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
She leaves to cherish her memories 3 daughters Dorothy Jones of Milwaukee, WI, Iola Briggs
(Eddie) of Dumas, AR, and Demetree Ricks of West Memphis, AR. 1 son Leron Turks Jr of
Dumas, AR, a grand-daughter whom she helped to raise, Patrice Turks Holley, 2 sisters Savannah Vessel and Elvira Foster both of Oakland, CA. 15 grandchildren, 36 great grands, 12 great great grandchildren, and 1 great great great grandchild, a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral Service will be Saturday August 26, at Free Gift MBC with Pastor Tyrone Ford
officiating. Visitation will be Friday August 25, at Serenity Gardens from 3-6 pm.
