Mrs. Barbara Jean Brown-Lacy, 75 of Dumas, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Born May 11, 1945 in Dumas, she was a daughter of the late James B. Brown, Sr. and Verline Adams.
She was a member of St. Peters Rock M. B. C. in Dumas. Serving as a member of the Choir, Women's Ministry, Mission, a member of American Legion Auxiliary, Mitchellville Service League, and co-owner of Lacy's Beauty World in Mitchellville.
She is survived by her husband, Albert Lacy of Dumas, two sons, Pastor Michael Lacy, Chattanooga, TN, Randy Lacy of Little Rock, four brothers, Murl Brown of Kansas City, KS, Johnnie Brown of Monticello, Roy Brown of Mitchellville, Clyde Brown of Los Angeles, CA; three sisters, Ester Mitchell of Omaha, NE, Verline Pittman of Little Rock, Nettie Wallace of Mitchellville; 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 23, 2021 in Free Gift Cemetery in Dumas by Pastor Michael Lacy. Services entrusted to Brown Funeral of Dumas, Arkansas.
Walk through viewing will be Friday at Brown Funeral Home from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m.
