Bobby Joe Daniel (BJ), age 88 of Clarksville, AR passed away October 28, 2023 at his home. He was born February 6, 1935 in Dumas, AR to the late Thomas A. Daniel and Mabel Wilson Daniel. He was preceded in death by his infant son, James Keith Daniel; and sister, Waldean Infante.
He is survived by his wife, Charlette Daniel; sister, Bennie Lee Gladden; four daughters, Julie Myrick (Mitch), Cindy Daniel (Barb), Susie Kagebein (Ken), and Brooke Mitcham (Taylor); two step-sons, Shane Bewley (Heather), Terry Bewley (Tina); 15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
BJ graduated from Dumas High School and attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello. He was a member of Danville First Baptist Church.
He enjoyed hunting, riding horses, working cattle, and being an all around cowboy.
A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
