Deloris (Fahn) Jackson, 71 transitioned from this life on Monday, July 27, 2020. She was preceded in death by both her parents, Mary Lee Reed of Dumas, AR and Chester Fahn of Pine Bluff.
She leaves to cherish in legacy her beloved husband of 52 years, James E. Jackson, Sr and her three (3) children; James E., Jr (Arlington, TN), Brian O. Jackson (Pleasanton, CA) and Charlet E. Cornelious (Little Elm, TX) and nine (9) grandchildren; Austin, Jaden, Christian, Brianna, James III, Collyn, Cydney, Brady and Brody.
Also to mourn her loss are three sisters; Mary Williams and Kerma Jones (Walter) of Dumas, AR; Corliss Jasper of Pine Bluff, AR as well as her womb mate, twin brother Devon Fahn of Dumas, AR. She was also preceded in death by her sister Ruby Lee of Dumas, AR.
The public walk through visitation was held Friday, July 31, 2020 from 6:00-7:00 PM at First Trinity COGIC - 800 S. Catalpa Street, Pine Bluff, Arkansas. A "Celebration of Life" service was held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at First Trinity COGIC.
In adherence to the CDC guidelines, everyone wore required masks to mitigate the community spread of COVID-19. Only 100 persons were allowed inside the sanctuary during the service. Service entrusted to Christian Way Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family has established the Deloris Jackson Memorial Fund at the Arkansas Community Foundation.
