Donald (Donny) William Rigney, Jr 57 of Hot Springs, Arkansas retired United State Navy Chief Petty Officer 2nd Class passed away September 25, 2020. Born on December 21, 1962 in Las Cruces, New Mexico the son of Donald W. Rigney, SR and Anne Quimby Moody.
Donny attended First Baptist Church, Hot Springs, Arkansas. Member of American Legion, Diamondhead Board of Directors. Served for 17 years as System Engineer for Allied Technology Group supporting the Department of Defense and the Coast Guard. Currently employed as Education and Technology Programs Manager at Riverside Vocational Technical School, Ouachita River Unit.
Survivors are his wife, Marsha Bottoms Rigney of Hot Springs, Arkansas, father and step mother, Don and Linda Rigney of Naples, Idaho, mother and step father, Anne and Bob Moody all of Hot Springs, Arkansas, one son, Johnathan Rigney and wife, Samantha of Colorado Springs, Colorado, two daughters, Tifanee Lasley and husband, Pat of Cape May, New Jersey and Bethany Hodges and husband, Paul of Castro Valley, California, 3 step sons, Brandt Bottoms and wife, Fara of Gould, Arkansas, Braden Bottoms and wife, Nikki of White Hall, Arkansas and Bracy Bottoms of Gould, Arkansas, special brother in law, “G” Myron Grimes of Dumas, Arkansas and ten grandchildren, Natalie, Alleah, Billy, Cameron, Tyler, Riley, Marley, Gentry, Beckham and Callan.
Family will receive friends at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Bradley, 2103 State Highway 83 North, Dumas, Arkansas.
Visitation held from 1 PM until 2 PM, Griffin Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, October 2, 2020 followed by funeral at 2 PM with Rev. Dubs Byers officiating at Griffin Funeral Home Chapel and burial following in Dark Corner Cemetery, Gould, Arkansas.
