Floyd Dale Persons, 84 of Dumas, Arkansas passed away May 26, 2021. Born December 30, 1936 in Alligator, Mississippi the son of the late Willie Harvey Persons and Nancy Eva Thomas Persons. His parents, stepson, Don Kilburn, two brothers Billy and Franky all preceded him in death.
Floyd was a Christian and attended Rankin Chapel Baptist Church, he served in the United States Navy and retired from Baldwin And Shell Construction Company.
Survivors are his wife Lou Persons, Dumas, Arkansas two brothers Harold (Pearl) Persons, Dumas, Arkansas, and Travis (Libby) Persons, White Hall, Arkansas and two sisters, Loice (Joe) Smith and Wanda (Ronnie) Mankin all of Dumas, Arkansas two grandsons Justin and Jordan Kilburn and three great grandchildren.
Visitation and service held Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Griffin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Monty Meek officiating, visitation from 1 Pm until services at 2 PM burial following in Tyro Cemetery.
