Jeanie Rita Clayton Pennington, 73, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 26, 2020.
She was born August 4, 1947, in Dumas to Allen Woodrow, and Anna Plunkett Clayton.
She graduated from Dumas High School in 1965.
Mrs. Pennington was a member of White Hall United Pentecostal Church and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Bo Clayton and Dwight Clayton.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Pennington whom she married on March, 17, 1967 in Star City; a son, Kevin Pennington (Stephanie) of White Hall; a daughter, Karen Womack (Kevin) of Enid, Oklahoma; sisters, Peggy Chapman of Tillar, Glenda McEwen of Conway, Judy Smith of Bella Vista, Jane Donley of Winchester; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three honorary grandchildren and their parents.
Visitation was held at White Hall United Pentecostal Church.
Funeral service conducted by Ralph Robinson & Son was Saturday, August 29, 2020, at 2:00 P.M. at White Hall United Pentecostal Church with Reverend Chris Dixon officiating.
Burial was at Memorial Park Cemetery.
