Junior Wayne Freeman, 77 of Dumas, passed away October 28, 2020 in Star City, Arkansas. Born April 13, 1943 in Dumas, the son of the late Silas Sylvester Freeman and Willie Mozell Freeman. His parents and wife, Doris Freeman, two brothers, Willie S. Freeman and Harold D. Freeman and one sister, Lorene Marie Sweaza all preceded him in death.
Wayne graduated from Watson High School class of 1961 and married Linda Doris Brazil on June 15, 1963 and they celebrated 51 years of marriage.
He retired in 2003 after 28 years from the City of Dumas as the water supervisor and city inspector. He attended Abundant Life Worship Center and was a member of Friendship Auto Club in Pine Bluff. Wayne loved his family and friends dearly and loved working on his vehicles.
Survivors are son, Anthony (Christi) Freeman of Dumas. Arkansas and daughter, Amanda (Mike) Bunting of Harrison, Arkansas, one brother Bobby Ray Freeman of San Pablo, California and one sister, Betty Carol Wells of Watson, Arkansas, three grandchildren, Gavin (Sydney) Freeman, Austin Freeman and Natosha (Rodney) Beaver and one great grandson, Joshua Owen Woods.
Graveside memorial service at 2 PM, November 14, 2020 at Watson Cemetery.
