Norma Jean Reed Johnson, 79, of Dumas, Arkansas, passed away June 27, 2020.
Born May 29, 1941, the daughter of the late John W. and Hannah Reed. Her parents, husband, Vernon Johnson, grandson Kyle Johnson all preceded her in death.
Norma was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church and attended First Baptist Church. She worked as bookkeeper for Dumas Butane, P & W Oil, Wire Factory. Norma was active many years with Desha County Museum, served as past president of Dumas Business Women’s Club and former Dumas Ding Dong Momma.
Survivors are her son, Wayne (Karen) Johnson of Maumelle, Arkansas, and her daughter, Donna Parris of Oklahoma, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Visitation held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday July 1, 2020, with funeral services held 10 a.m. Thursday, July 2, 2020, at Griffin Funeral Home with Rev. Dubs Byers officiating with burial following in Tyro Cemetery.
