Norman Deannie Roper, 69 of Monticello passed away June 7, 2021. Born February 22, 1952, in California, the son of Norman and Coy Roper. His parents, brother Jeffery Roper and sister Barbara Moore preceded him in death.
Norman was a Baptist and retired from farming in 2011.
Survivors are his wife Phyllis Roper of Monticello, son, Edward Lee (Wendy) Roper of Dumas daughters Tracie (Cecil JR) Say of Monticello and Jeniffer (Johnny) McDaniel of Monticello brother Larry Roper of Dumas and two sisters, Joyce Parker of Tennessee and Gloria Lynn Hawkins of Dumas, 13 grandchildren.
Visitation held from 5-7 Pm, Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at Griffin Funeral Home. Funeral services 2 PM, Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Griffin Funeral Home with Brother David Williams officiating and burial in Dark Corner Cemetery. Arrangements by Griffin Funeral Home, Dumas, AR.
