Yeah, Yeah, Yeah. Let all the people start praying. That's what we do, right? Praying now for the poor people in Ukraine. Getting our prayer groups and ministries tossing up prayers all across the world. This is what we are supposed to do, right?
Let all 'we the people' start blaming and calling Putin out. He's a devil. He's about self. He's all about power, greed, money.
But hold up America and especially people of the household of faith... wait a minute. Is this a distraction? Why look way across the world? Is there a Putin in the USA? Is there a Putin in my hometown (the answer... a big YES), or your hometown, wherever that may be? Are there people who want to take over what is not theirs to oversee? Sadly, yes there are.
This article is not aimed to talk about the many who have been killed, injured and displaced in Ukraine. But this is important. It's not to talk about the sanctions and multiple agendas that are engaged in the warfare. But this is important.
Can we stop this time and do a close look at the Putin's in the USA? No, not the person... BUT...Yes, the spirit behind the person. The Putin's in our city seats of authority. What about those who are power-hungry leading our political parties and God-forbid... sometimes and oftentimes are religious seats in the pulpits? Let's start with the man/woman in the mirror.
Truth is (and it's so sad), the Putin virus is already a Pandemic (and Putin is not the origin of the virus--Satan is. He's labeled more so as the COVID-19 of hate/evil/wickedness).
Millions of us have only to have been inoculated with the vaccine of pride/greed and selfishness that's way too effective, leaving us with a disease that appears to be disabled or non-existing.
No... not one moment of this post gives honor to Putin. In fact, every one of us who has one trait of this Putin (now magnified) depicted character should stop now and ask God to wash us and cleanse us, stat.
This post is short and aims to move us forward with three observations/actions:
1. Before we get too far out here looking at the Putin's across the world, let's start with ourselves. How many of us are pushing/forcing people out of their destinies and promised land because we appear to have to power to do so?
2. What will it take for us to stop putting our efforts and resources in other places as we neglect to see and respond to the damages of these evil spirits running rampant in our own front and back doors? #stopthisnow
3. Who will be the wise leaders and begin bringing balance here in the USA and in the World? It is election year, and we need to be wiser than we have been before.
Isn't it the critical time for us to sweep around our own doors before we go and sweep around someone else's (aka) ... start with the man in the mirror? I say let’s take care of home... yes family, community, city, county, state, nation and world.
Maybe it's a case of the pot not being able to call the kettle black.
In the sport of baseball, you must get to first base before you go to second base and eventually get home. Maybe this is why the field of play is called a DIAMOND. I think when we do it, we are all rich.
WE ARE OUR BROTHERS KEEPERS! WE NEED TO BE SURE WE DON'T TAKE OUR EYES OFF THE PRIZE OF THIS TRUTH IN THE USA AND EVERYWHERE.
THE BODY OF CHRIST BELONGS TO GOD. LET'S START GIVING EACH MEMBER THE RESPECT, HONOR AND BEST OF TREATMENT.
