Jessica Ferguson, Desha County Tax Assessor, is pleased to announce her candidacy for re-election. Jessica has worked in the Assessor’s office since 2008 and is currently serving her first term as Tax Assessor.
Jessica is married to her husband Jeremy Ferguson, and they have a daughter, Jayda. Jessica has been a resident of Desha County for over 20 years. “Desha County has been my home for most of my life. I am so blessed to be part of this community and able to raise my daughter here.”
Jessica has been a level 4 Senior Appraiser since 2012 with many hours of continuing education. She is very familiar with all the statues that govern the Tax Assessor’s office and has established working relationships with other county and state offices. Jessica’s goal is to always provide impeccable service and efficiency to the citizens of Desha County.
The Assessor’s Office has always strived to accommodate the citizens of Desha County and maintain equality for all taxpayers. There is a well-trained staff in place and our history of professionalism will be continued.
