Lisa Hutchison, Desha County Tax Collector, is pleased to announce her candidacy for re-election. Lisa ran for Tax Collector in 2018 and first took office in 2019.
Lisa is a lifelong resident of Desha County. She graduated from McGehee High School and received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from UALR. Lisa is married to Michiel Hutchison and is the stepmother to his children, Carson and Colton.
Lisa is also involved with many community organizations and has been a business owner in Desha County for 28 years. “I love the Delta and the wonderful people of Desha County. The highlight of my career has been working with the public.”
The Desha County Collector’s Office takes great pride in serving its citizens with courtesy and respect. This office has always operated at a high standard of efficiency. Lisa and her staff work diligently to ensure the policies, procedures, and laws are implemented at the level of integrity and professionalism that this office has displayed in the past and will continue to display in the future.
