Dumas, AR — On behalf of the HoodNic Board and each of the founding members, we express our deepest sympathy and condolences in the heartbreaking loss suffered during the tragic events that occurred on Saturday, March 19th. We also share in the grief of all those families impacted and offer our deepest sympathies.
We are all terribly saddened to have witnessed the mindless acts of violence that took place on this day in our community. No words are enough to condemn such horrific actions imposed upon the event attendees by devious external sources. We who value nonviolence stand shoulder to shoulder with the law enforcement community in supporting their efforts in identifying and bringing to justice the perpetrators.
Let us all pray and trust that our municipal leaders and community advocates will continue to collaboratively work together to ensure that such acts of violence will not deter the sincere mentoring efforts within our community which promotes unity together with harmonious synergy.
We have all been impressed by the community engagement demonstrated with the courage and dedication of the first responders, law enforcement, the rescue workers, medical facilities and support from the surrounding communities, and for the dignity and resilience which lies behind the determination to prevail against such monstrous evil.
