The President has directed the flags be lowered to half-staff in honor of former Senator Harry Reid. The day of interment is scheduled for today January 13, 2022; therefore, the flags will be lowered to half-staff beginning at midnight tonight and return to full staff at sunset on Thursday, January 13, 2022.
In Arkansas, flags are currently at half-staff in tribute to the memory of Major General (Retired) Harold Gwatney, former Adjutant General for the State of Arkansas. Flags will remain at half-staff until the day of his interment, which is Friday, January 14, 2022. Flags will return to full staff at sunset on Friday.
