CASA of the 10th Judicial District staff and volunteers had the opportunity to spend time at York W. Williams Child Development Center in Dermott for a special Lunch & Learn with President and Chief Director Cortez Smith September 23, 2026.Cortez shared his knowledge, experiences, and insight with our CASA team, giving us an opportunity to learn, grow, and better understand the community we serve. We are grateful for the time he took to pour into our staff and volunteers! Afterwards, the CASA team enjoyed lunch together at Ray’s in Monticello—a great way to continue the fellowship and conversation! A big thank-you to Cortez and the entire York W. Williams Child Development Center family for welcoming CASA and investing in our team! Learning together. Growing together. Advocating together.
