Members of the Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church of Dumas wished Merry Christmas to many elderly persons in the community on the evening of December 18.
The carolers joyously sang a medley of five Christmas songs “Silent Night”, “Joy to the World”, “O come all Ye Faithful”, “Go tell it on the Mountain”, and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas”. The group gave each person they visited a small gift bag of goodies. When they visited Mrs. Hattie Watts, she was so excited and thankful that she gave hugs to the carolers and posed for a photo.
