William "Dubs" Byers, Gould, Arkansas, recently authored a book, The Paper Plate Escape.; The book about a prison escape that happened at Cummins Prison on January 1,1979.
The Desha County Museum will be hosting a book signing for Byers on Sunday, March 27, 2022 from 2-4 p.m.
