THUMBPRINT
COOKIES
1 1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
3 egg yolks
3 cups sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
Jelly or jam
Cream butter and sugar. Add yolks, flour and vanilla. Mix well. Roll into balls. Place on cookie sheet. Make a thumbprint into each. Fill with jelly or jam. Bake at 400 until brown on edges.
